Great photo, but never seen a Pandanus utilis look like that... sure it's not some other species of Pandan? There are many, you know. Utilis always has incredibly vicious spines along the edges and red veination. And the leaves are pretty large. Of course, I only get to see the P utilis that grow in So Cal, which are incredibly colorful Pandans, and the most cold hardy of genus, at least in my experience. There are so many others I can't grow here.
