We just bought a house with a pool. The pool is surrounded by three Mexican Fan Palms. The trees are blooming now and I was curious if this is an annual occurance or if it happens every so often. As you can imagine, it is extremely time consuming to sweep and skim the pool to remove these tiny flowers. Any information you can give us would be most helpful. Oh, also, do the trunks range in size from skinny to wider varieties or do the trunks get skinnier with time?
