In case you didn't know: If you lengthen the exposure time (not possible on cheaper digital cameras like mine) then the aperture (f-stop) will be smaller and your depth of field (focus) will be greater.
Thanks Max I'll try that...This plant is in a bad place to get a good clear picture. It's among others and in the shade...I'd be embarressed to say how many pics I've actually taken...LOL! I'll keep trying though!
What part of the plant does the oil/scent originate? I thought it was the leaves, but the flowers look sticky, do they smell anything like the "patchouly" scent that is associated with it?
I think it is the young leaves mostly, at least for potpourri. When I walk by a plant in my office and brush it with my hands the scent fills the air and stays on my hands.
