Banyan Tree, Ban Yan
Ficus benghalensis

The Banyan is a very large, wide-spreading tree, producing aerial roots which fasten themselves to the ground..

It is possible to grow a banyan tree in the southeastern U.S. only in southern and possibly central Florida. They cannot survive north of central Florida. They survive temperatures only as low as 20 to 25 degrees.

Hope I helped!
