Besides being beautiful in it's own right, I bet the flowers would be stunning in cut flower arrangements. What do you think? Have you ever cut some & brought them in the house??

I have not, but you are probably right. This is a spectacular bloom that is still going strong here in the middle of November.

The seeds are developing on the vine now. Should have enough to trade!

I don't have much success with seeds. The frost and below freezing temperatures set in before they ripen sufficiently. This year, I have grown an extra plant in a container. It has been in my garage for the past month and a few seed pods are looking promising.

Sadly enough. Frost set in before seeds were ripe. This year I am starting them inside early so that I will have seeds. (I hope)

I'm sorry to hear that Mr. Frost got ya. I had a friend send me some cuttings plus a ton of seeds so I am all set. The cuttings are doing wonderful & I plan on starting some seeds of them this week. Thank you for offering!!

I'm stunned by the richness of the colour. Mine is dull coloured (as in pic in the plantlink above). Why could it be?
