This plant must be clasified in the section Tropical plants and certainly not in the Alpine plants . Alpine means high level growing and resistant to cold.
The Aeonium shown here in the Aeonium arboreum Cv atropurpureum fa. nigrum and is a cultivar from the Aeonium genus from the Canary Islands. The plant doen't resist to temperatures below 3/5°C.
