We've given everything a gallant effort, but it's just too much with three dogs here in this little house. Buddy's such a sweetie pie, so good with dogs, cats and kids. The anal gland issue has become almost a non-issue since we switched him to natural food and have expressed his glands weekly. It's no big deal, that.

His nervous peeing is just too much, though, along with everything else involved with three dogs. He can wait for hours in his cage just fine, but when he's loose in the house, he can't (or won't) hold it.

We've been waffling about whether to find him another home, but today cinched it. The FedEx guy came to the door and in the time I was there signing for the package, Buddy peed in the recliner and all around the office floor, and on the wingback chair, too! He was jumping up on the chair and running around, leaving a trail behind him. He'd just been out 3 hours ago!

I'm at my wits end, and so's Howie. We can't trust him unsupervised, or even supervised sometimes. Please pray we can find a suitable home for him through the beagle rescue organizations and the humane society. We're on the latter's waiting list. He's such a sweet dog in so many ways, but we just can't do this anymore.
