This plant is used in Ayurvedic medicine and the milky juice of this plant is injurious to the eyes, they say. The leaves are grey-green, shrub. It grows on roadsides here in this part of our country.

I'm sure that must be a milk weed (asclepias) of some sort. I'll see if I can find a species for you.

Here it is Dinu ... Calotropis gigantea. Native to Sri Lanka, India :o)

Dinu, This plant is also indigenous to the UAE. The tale goes that it cures warts!
