I bought 2 ferns which were very green & full when I bought them & now they are turning yellow and loosing alot of there spiny leaves. What am I doing wrong? I've always had plants in my house, but this it the first time I've had these. I'm usually pretty good with plants/flowers.
Thanks
This is one of my least favorite additions to my garden... they are not true ferns, and very hard to get rid of once established. Their stems are very spiny and painful to get rid of.. .their roots spread by succulent rhizomatose-like bulbs that infitrate the toughest soils and look just like itty bitty stones at first, making them nearly impossible to find and exterminate. Roundup makes absolutely no impact on these plants. And they magically spread every where in the garden, seemingly by magic. Careful! This is a true weed!
