I just removed all the babies from mine, removed leaves, and cut the bloom off. It was way to long and not standing up straight. I had a big problem with the sap from this plant. My arms itched and burned for over an hour and that was after washing them a few times and putting Benedryl cream on them. I have since given this plant away. I do still have some of the babies, but will probably get rid of them too since I'm obviously allergic to this one enough to create a problem for me. Don't want to take a chance on my grandchildren getting into the sap accidently.
