Halberd Leaved Swamp Mallow, Soldier Rose Mallow Hibiscus laevis
Halberd-leaved Rose-Mallow is a perennial growing to 2 meters. Its habitat is low, swampy areas in the open. The flowers are 60-80 mm across and are white or rose with a dark center.
Anyone out there know of another Hibiscus with a flower that is like this but grows on single stems rather than bushlike and without the three-lobe leaf? I have three of these in my yard (just moved in) and cannot identify them.
