Mine has been in the ground for 3yrs... and still no blooms. I am hoping for this year...I am on the coast of Oregon, keeping my fingers crossed. Yours it really beautiful!
I've heard people say that it can take a few years before they will bloom. Ours came with the house and was mature. In fact, it was blooming when we moved in. That was several years ago.
Hi, I love my plants, I have two trained in a tree form, and one a vine.I don't even know what variety it is. They all bloom beautifully, probably because i wack them down harshly every year some times twice. In fact it's about time for me to cut one back severly. The picture you see is actual blooms from my vine plant this year.. Love this plant though it does take some work, but to me it's worth every minute. !!!
