kat7 Bloomingdale, NJ (Zone 6a) I couldn't figure out how to get both pictures into one thread so here is the closeup of the unknown pink flowers.
Click the image for an enlarged view.
Jerseyguy Princeton, NJ (Zone 6a) My guess is a Lychnis, possibly a double flowered L. viscaria.
poppysue Westbrook, ME (Zone 5a) Jersy guy might be right. There's a double lychnis viscaria named ‘Splendens Plena’. Here's a couple links - the frist one is a picture
kat7 Bloomingdale, NJ (Zone 6a) I think both of you are right-I recognise the name lychnis-so that's probably what I planted. It Certainly looks like the picture. THANKS!
gardenwife Newark, OH (Zone 5b) Kat,
To get both pictures into one thread, you have to use photo editing software and paste a second picture in with your original, then save the two together. For an example, see my post on our pond: http://davesgarden.com/showthread/24730.html
If you need help on the particulars, e-mail me and let me know the software you have and I can try and help.
HTH! :o) Kimberley
