A very nice and clear pic. It seems to be hot and dry there right now (just looking at the top leaves..)?

Evert, It has been very hot and dry here...We have had repeated sandstorms with blistering heat and my poor hollyhocks are still standing and blooming! It is getting toward the end of the season for them here however!

What a wonderful picture and colour. Don't you have problems with rust on the leaves??? All the people that I know that have grown hollyhocks have MAJOR promlems with rust. Well done. pokerboy.

Pokerboy...I grew these in the Middle East and no, I never had a problem with rust. I am now starting some in seed trays to plant in my new home in Middle Georgia...I hope I will not have this problem!
