I live and Cape Town, South Afica. The winters are cold
but minimum temperatures seldom reach below five
degrees C. Despite this, potato trees do not do well
in the cold winters but quickly recovers as warmer days
set in and thrive in the summer heat provided they
kept moist in well drained soil. The profusion of blue flowers in summer makes this shrub an outstanding feature in any garden.
