Found this plant in my friend's garden. Wanted to ID. Posted in the forums. It was said to be this. So, bumped into this picture -- amazing set of blooms! Simply magnificient!

I have to comment again to make it 5 years running of admiration. I have seen it in person now at 2 public gardens in glass houses. Just gorgeous for sure.

I planted mine at the base of two palms. They have no supporting structure.

This vine loves a sunny, dry location. Mine is on the west side of my yard.
