Chamma Tennille, GA (Zone 8b) This looks like a giant Rhoeo but with little growths!
Click the image for an enlarged view.
Evert Helsinki Finland (Zone 4b) Looks like a normal, very healthy Rhoeo to me. Those little things are the "pockets" where you can see the small white flowers.
Chamma Tennille, GA (Zone 8b) No Evert this grows much larger than the Rhoeo we have here...I mean it is a larger type of Rhoeo...
Wingnut Spicewood, TX (Zone 8b) It's larger than
R. spathacea (sp?)? The one I grew had leaves about 8 or 10 inches tall, but when I put it in the ground instead of the pot, it increased in size. Maybe...?
Chamma Tennille, GA (Zone 8b) I have Rhoeo growing all over my yard in the ground...it is 8-10 inches but This one in the picture is about 18-20 inches long...It doesn't stand up as well as the usual type of Rhoeo and the leaves are broader...
Dinu Mysore India (Zone 10a) May be it is getting abundant nutrition?? Mine is about a foot long and I do not water it at all. It stands well even to such neglect!
