    This is a native grass, 3' high, clumping, very slow spreading, slight reseeding. Need the ID for a MG project.

    I guess you are after a latin name? Don't know that, but we call it broomsedge cause folks use to make brooms using this grass.

    The best I can come up with is Schizachyrium scoparium. Blue Stem, Broom Beard Grass, Prairie Grass. Zone 3-10.
