    How beautiful!
I just got a weeping cherry it is about 4 feet
How long did it take to grow yours.
    Any special treatment need?
I am in GA zone 8
    Will it grow here?
And also what is the tree you have with the beautiful purple blooms?
I would really apprechiate your feedback as I am a beginner with no knowledge of trees or plants.
    Thankyou so much

    Hi E,
Actually the cherry tree isn't mine, it lives across the street. I think they've probably had it about 5 years. I would think it would grow in GA and I don't think they did anything special for it. I don't know if it needs a cold winter to bloom or not.

The one with the purple blooms is a redbud, at least 26 years old. But this year, it seemed that things just bloomed their heads off due to the snowy and cold winter we had. I can't remember it being that striking before.

    Happy gardening!
