Hi from Maplewood Mn. We have about 20 of these little trees growing in our yard, they are about 3years old and from 10 to 15 inches tall growing more each year. There are no other trees like these growing in our yard or anywhere close. Do you have any idea how they just happen to grow here, how tall do they grow and how big around they get. I would appreciate any info you can give me...Thank you. falava

I've seen the seeds from these pop up all over the place. It could be that birds are eating the fruit and then passing the seeds through their body (if you know what I mean :). That may be a good explanation of how they got where they are if there are no other trees like that in the immediate area.

I've seen some mature trees like this here about 10-15 feet across and maybe 30 feet tall (guessing here). They're not huge trees. They won't get REALLY big, but I wouldn't say they're small either. Of course growing conditions may have an affect on how big yours big. I have lots of these around here. They grow pretty much everywhere around my area.
