    This tree is about 5 years old. It produces these white bell shaped flowers every spring

    Is it in acid soil as it looks like it belongs in the Ericaeae family (Heaths). Here's a photo of Vaccinium arboreum which is a little similar

    Thank you Baa! It is very similar to the link you provided and gives me a point to do more research from. I'm so glad you are here!

    P.S. I think the soil is a little on the acid side. I have not tested it since 1996.

    Don't thank me just yet Sue *G*, there are lots of genera in the Ericaceae and many are quite similar. Off the top of my head, Pieris and Gaultheria are other genera you might want to look at, if I can think of anymore I'll let you know.

    Sorry but it's the best I could do from a photo, I can't even pinpoint genera these days!
