We saw our first hummingbird last night as we sat in the dining room he came to the window (where I usually have the feeder). I have a new feeder that looks different and is slightly to the side. He didn't know what to make of it and our movement to the window scared him off. He flew to a fully blossomed out apple tree and visited the blossoms there. I filled three feeders and he visited them this morning. There isn't a lot blooming yet and it is cold and rainy and so the insects may not be a numerous either. It was exciting to see him up close. He was very colorful so must be a "he".
