How did you get that bush to bloom already? Mine are only a foot tall now.

Kell, I had this one a couple of years ago, but it only lived over one winter. Wasn't as strong of a grower as my others either, but the foliage was worth it.

Brugie: The photo is from last year. I noticed their wasn't a photo in the pdb. Mine came back this spring, it is slower growing than the others. It is only about 6 inches tall right now.
Kell: There is another variegated form that is called Strawberry Lemonade. This is the first year I've heard of strawberry lemonade.

I do question the part about it getting 6-8 ft tall and 5 ft. wide or whatever it was it said. That would be one big bush.

Brugie: It could grow to that size in California, but not here. Mine are lucky to get 4 ft. tall and not too bushy. They tend to flop over.

Shoot, I can't get the link to work. I think my pop up control is screwing it up becaus I hear the noise it makes when it sucks one of the pop ups into the wastebasket...LOL! But it is sucking the whole site into the basket!

I do not know about the variegated ones Brugie, but out here the regular buddlias get absolutely huge. very tall and very wide!
Yesterday I saw a purple one for sale at HD and it was made into a standard. I almost got it. I still may. I could never have one here for it wouldl take up too much room in my little yard, but a standard I could really prune back and control.
