We have an "eyesore" patio that is in between the driveway and the deck, we've always hated it. We fenced in the yard and I decided I had to do something to spruce that area up. The patio portion of the driveway will be coming out in a couple of years but in the meanwhile, I painted it to look like brick. I am happy with the results and am probably going to be sad to see it go. It's now my kitchen garden, the entire perimeter is planted with herbs. The fence and planters are now stained and I like it even better, it really warmed it up.
