SOLVED: Any clue????

There are a couple of these coming up in the garden. The stem/leaves look like cosmos. Any idea??? Thanks!

Is it larkspur?

Don't think so only because I have miniature larkspur all through the garden and the stems/leaves aren't even close and blooms are different too. Sure appreciate the input though.

I think Windy is right, it does look like an annual larkspur (Consolida), the leaves on Consolida are very different from the perennial ones (Delphinium): http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&safe=off&q=consolida&btnG=Google+Search

I stand corrected! You are BOTH right. I thank you so much for your expertise and wonderful botanical minds LOL....What would I do without you! Thank you so much! Now I'm wondering what all those other flowers that I "thought" were larkspur are...Duh!
