Lysimachia punctata

Bolton, Greater Manc, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

or yellow loostrife (common name)

Beware: may be pretty but it can be very invasive!!

I love this plant. It's beautiful and have shared it with my secret plant pal and plan to send to another wonderful garden pal next week. It's very easy to grow and very attractive bright flowers.

Thanks all! Yellow loostrife it is! Baa, I don't think it's the Lysimachia vulgaris. It looks more like the punctata. Again thanks so much all, I love this place!

If the calyx is entirely green then yes it's punctata, if it has a red margin then it's vulgaris. That is the basic difference between the two plants.
