Kathy,
I am wondering what the difference is between this "climbing" zucchini and a regular one. I have a regular one growing right now and I would assume it could be considered a climbing one if there was something for it to climb on! But, there must be more of a difference or yours wouldn't have the "climbing" distinction.
BTW, my one zucchini this year is a monster! Several years ago I had one that grew similarily large. And this one is planted in almost the same spot in the garden. Haven't had zucchini there for several years. I can remember my young son calling it a monster from outer space at the time. He's 23 now! Here's a pic:
Hi Roshana, This is the first time I have grown this (I found the seeds during our dump week-someone was throwing out bags and bags). I don't have a lot of room in my yard, but I usually fit in the monster kind like your growing, so this is an experiment. The plant actually has the little curly feelers that it winds around to crawl up. Here is another picture of the whole thing. I put in six seeds thinking that they wouldn't all germinate because they were old, but of course they all come up, LOL.
