Bells of Ireland
Moluccella laevis

Here is a bloom stalk of Bells of Ireland, with various stages of a bell's maturity (fresh blooms, no bloom/green seeds, dry bell with mature seeds).

This is one of my favorite plants! And it grows easily from seed. I had never seen it until a couple of years ago when in Urbana, IL and they had used it for city plannings. I only managed to grow one this year, so I hope it does well.
