What pretty little flowers! And it's even hardy in my zone. I'v added it to my wish list! Your flowers are a welcome addition here.

I have been referred to this plant from another source that says it does well in shade. Does anybody concur with this? I have about twenty feet on the north side of the house that only gets at the most two hours of sun a day. Would this beautiful plant be the one for me? Any comments would be appreciated.

These are woodland plants and prefer a dappled/light shade rather than deep.

Mine were growing and blooming in deep dappled shade, but not the full shade found along the north side of a home. I have since moved them to a spot where they get a bit more sun and they are growing vigorously. So I think they would survive in deep shade, but not necessarily thrive. Perhaps the good old combo of ferns and hostas would be an answer to your landscaping needs.
