Boston Ivy, Japanese Creeper Parthenocissus tricuspidata
Boston Ivy in full leaf July 16 2003 (hubby too!) This is merely part of my home & the ivy continues to the left of this shot & on to cover my neighbours house as well!
GREAT PHOTO!!!! Your husband seems quite at home in the garden "room"...I hope I can achieve that sense of privacy this summer...Could you please tell me the name of the plant growing in the planter? Is it a boston ivy, also?
Did you grow it from seed? Please advise...
Sunshinetoo...I'm so sorry that I'm so late responding to your question, but I only just read it lol. Thanks so much for the kind words about this area of my garden. It is indeed very much like an intimate little room.
The plant growing in the container to the left of hubby is Morning Glory Heavenly Blue. They're just seeds that I planted in a pot & then trained on an obelisk. Very easy & very inexpensive & come August gives a beautiful display of pretty truly blue flowers.
Hope you try them. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. Happy gardening!!
