I live in zone 9b in Central Florida. This plant is native to Central Florida, and comes up all over my yard and in the dry areas of my yard. Common name: Mother of Thousands is correct, because this plant comes up every where by the thousands! Beautiful red bell flowers cover the plant in bloom and hang down as if they were crystals hanging from a chandelier.
