Did you know that the juice of this wonderful plant will dry up poison ivy almost right away? I wish it grew year round. chenault

I didn't even see the ant when I took the photo. Yes Chenault, I've heard that it is good for poison ivy rashes. I've never had the rash to try it out though. To use it out of season try making frozen Jewel weed cubes. Make a mash from the foliage in your blender and poor it into ice cube trays. After they freeze remove them from the trays and store in zip lock baggies.

You could also try making a salve by steeping the leaves in olive oil and solidifying it with beezwax. That way you could use it any time.
