Here a moth which tried today to hide itself on the fabric of a chair in my office.
Need some help in ID of this moth. Wingspan is about 4". My two family guesses are Sphingidae or Cossidae.
I first thought that it might be a Carolina Sphinx but the bands on the sides of the body on this one are white not yellow.
I'll post a few more shots.
