Hi all, Nothing much happened today at the market. We were busy, but not as busy as usual. Next week starts school in our area, and if history repeats itself, sales will drop off to the point where I may have to give up Tuesdays. Any ideas? Corn is the thing! Everyone wants corn and it is not ripening! We have had so much rain in the past 4 days, can't hardly get into the fields. Sold some wonderful melons today called Superstar. They smelled so good on the table. I had company today. A friend of mine has a wonderful peach orchard and sold a lot! of peaches today. I am happy for her. She was impressed. I went without baked goods today. Sometimes you just gotta have a break! We had beautiful weather, a little breezy, but I still can't believe that it is August and we have not had a day over 100 yet! I better whisper. :) Our tomatoes are starting to come in, but we've had so much rain that they are cracking...but good :) Well, see y'all on Saturday. Happy Day. Kathy @ Misty Meadows Farm
