Has anyone had any difficulty with spider mites and this plant? I am growing it in doors and have never had a problem with spider mites but after introducing it in doors - I now do. Any insight concerning the plants pest problems would be appreciated.

Does this plant reproduce very small potatoes on the vine to use as seed for another plan?

My Mother had one that she would put on the front porch to grow in the spring thru summer and in the winter she would cut off the vine and put the potatoe in a covered bowl in a dark place till next spring . Is this that type of plant?. Please let me know my husband thru out the pot the potatoes were in and I would love to have antother start of her favorite plant.
