It breaks my heart too because it came to me, and now my son, from my Mother, who died after a very lengthy battle with leukemia in 1990. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and loved people, animals, plants and gardening, and this flower will always remind me of her. This flower is actually like her--very beautiful and delicate looking, but underneath very strong.
