Crown of Thorns, Christ Plant, Siamese Lucky Plant 'Thai Hybrid'
    Euphorbia milii

A thorny slow growing Euphorbia. Likes full to part sun, the bright red 1/2\\\" flowers brighten up any space. This plant is about 6 years old.

I have have the red cultivar of this plant for 23 years.
It blooms 12 months a year in part shade on my 9A terrace.
I bring it inside whenever we have an (infrequent) freeze.
I have Never even changed the soil. It thrives on neglect.
It is growing in a 12-inch heavy terra cotta pot.

    Hello,
what a nice plant! I visited couple of days ago to my friend. There I saw that wanderfull Christ plant there. I asked to have a small cutting of that. She gave me three pieces sized about 10 cm (five inch). In the same evening I put these to small flower-pot an now is very exiting to expect how it start to grow. If somebody know, how I have to care for it and how often it needs water, please tell!

This is a very slow growing plant, and slow to root too. I would start it in a sandy mixture with good drainage, do not overwater or it will rot. Good luck.
