This is the first year I've started tomatoes from seed. I went a bit over the top. I got started really late and have over two dozen heirloom seedlings still yet to be planted. They definately won't make it in the ground. But, if I want to put them in the greenhouse, I'm going to have to go out and get heavy plastic to close it up. Even then I won't be able to keep them far enough apart to prevent cross polination. Putting them inside in the sunroom would eliminate the plastic problem. But, the cross polination would be even worse.
All the seed I got are from members and a few from other gardening friends. I hate to let them go. But, I can't think what else to do. I could use some help alleviating any guilt I might have if I put these on the compost pile. I just don't have any energy left. Hubby and I still need to deal with a bathroom floor with asbestos, and digging a trench around 50% of the house and 50% of the cistern so we can seal the foundation so it won't crumble.
I didn't get into too much here did I? Of course no one else here does either!
Help. :P
