Were you growing any other colors of yarrow with your 'Paprika'? Perhaps they crossed. I have some seeds of 'Paprika' to start soon, and it will be the only color yarrow I will be growing, so I'll see for myself within a few years if it holds its beautiful color.
That was my thought too...there are at least 3 other varieties in that same area. The 'Coronation Gold'(see image on this message) seems to be the strongest and eventually others take on some of it's characteristics.
