I have an Inniswood that I recieved in a great trade few years ago. The first year it was very happy-the size of that chunk Dee send was almost unbelieveable. The second year seemed ok. From there on it has been downhill. This year we did get some nice early leaves and I was very hopeful but that didn't last more than a few weeks. I admit it has been in quite a bit of sun for a couple years since the Redbud died, but this year I tipped a lawn chair over it to give it more shade. It was a web type chair so there wasn't a lot of heat from the plastic many of these chairs are made of. Anyway I want to keep this hosta and dug it up this morning. It still has a good set of roots so there is hope. Does it need deep shade or what?
