Could someone please tell me how to get to the address exchange from the home page? I stumbled on to it by accident the other day and now I don't know how I got there. Any help would be appreciated.

I finally found it again. http://davesgarden.com/address_exchange/ I am not sure how to find it by the menus. Maybe Dave could add it to the Extras.

The address exchange is for those of us who feel comfortable with posting our real home address. You have to add yourself to the list to be able to view it and it isn't easy to find.

You can ask someone for the link,or the hyperlinks are posted within threads. When you add yourself...if that's what you choose to do,bookmark the page.

This makes surprise cards and gifts easy and many members really like the convienience.

As with everything,we are careful about what we send each other and chain letters, ads and such are a no-no.

Dave has tried to make this as safe as possible for those who choose to participate, but as with everything, there are no guarantees.

That said,I've had my name on the list for a couple of years now and haven't had the first problem...and have had some wonderful surprises find their way to me.I've also used it to send things to folk who I knew could use a little lift.

It's been so handy to sneak cards to friends without having to be obvious and ask for their addresses beforehand. I figure most anything can be found on the Internet, anyway, and I enjoy being able to send things off to friends and know a little about their hobbies.
