Such a delicate looking rose! Beautiful color. I was pleased to read that it was a good one for beginners. I consider myself a beginner even though I tried to grow them for about 6 years. If I don't lose them to the winter, then they get black spot, lose their leaves and produce very tiny blooms, on spindly stems, if at all! I really admire roses and this might be one I should try to find next season. Thanks for posting it.

MKW: Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! I think you can get Angel Face just about anywhere--I got mine at a building supply store! They had bare root roses, really, really cheap ($3.99), last March so I picked it up on a whim. From what I've been told these are NOT the best roses to buy (cheapo ones, covered with lots of wax) because, chances are, they won't thrive. However, I'm very determined! ;) I planted it in a container at first and when it started to show some strong growth, I put it in the ground. It has recently started to show signs of blackspot, however, so next year I will have to start spraying it (I think it's too late for this year.) That is assuming it survives the winter--I will do my best to see that it does!
