Are the toadlilies a bulb or rihzomutus root or a fiberous root or what?

Your picture is terrific. I have several different toad lilies and love them all. One thing I like, they bloom so late when other things are going down and the flowers last so long. weeding Peachtree City, GA (Zone 7b)October 07, 2003 08:45 PM

They are a fiberous root. I like the fact that they bloom so late also. I have a yellow that bloomed this year and Wow!

I'm not sure of the name. I got it from PlantDelights and have emailed them for a name. They have not emailed me back. cblunkjr Clatskanie, OR (Zone 8a)October 13, 2003 11:32 PM

Cindy,
They are cool looking flowers I guess I will have to get some. Do they multiply very quickly?

They multiple, but not very quickly. The yellow one is Tricyrtis Macrantha.
