I grew this plant for the first time this year. Mine is just getting ready to bloom. I had no idea it would get so big! :)
Thanks for sharing your picture.

I grew this last year and it was very prolific. It self-seeds so easily. I had tons come up this year near where it was last year and even farther away! Mine just get huge! Taller than I am!
By the way, Dinu, I've been wondering how you get those rounded edges on your photos. Makes them look like slides!

This is my first experience at growing this too. The longest red thing on my plants is about a foot long and it hangs downwards.

Roshana, the rounded edges are done with the photo-editor. It's easy and you can choose which type of edge you prefer. just click and it's there.

I think it is windows 2000. It should be there in other versions too.

Here's one of mine from 2002. These plant do get very large, usually 5-6 feet, so give them lots of room! Once you find the seeds (not always easy), they will easily reseed, sometimes WAY across the yard!

That's a wonderful plant of yours, Osagewoman. Mine went to max. of 28 inches tall.

Are these plants edible?
