You remember my backyard with all those hummers and those very fancy "3rdworlders" feeders ?:

[HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]

Then (Aug 01, 2003), Larry did offer, out of his BIG heart, to send me a REAL hummingbird feeder...

The feeders, 2 beautiful ones, arrived the 9/21st/03...

I was so happy and wanted to tell everybody the good news, I thought that it was going to be beautiful to show the feeder with some customers at it ...

From there on, we have nearly no hummers around, the beautiful things have deserted my bistro !. My cooking is not good enough !

As you know , here in the southern hemisphere, we're starting spring and the customers, of course, prefer the nectar from all the native flowers that spring sprang around and about and I have not been able to catch them at the feeder: they're drinking a bit from it but not as often as it used to be in winter, and I haven't been able to catch any to get a pic... and show off Larry's present !

Anyway, Larry thank you very much, I do not know what to say to show you my appreciation for your kindness and I can only say that, as soon as I can catch a hummer feeding in anyone of the 2 feeders, I will be posting that photo.

So , Larry from one hummer-lover to another,

Thank you and I love you!

Cristina
