I had one very much like this last year (not sure of the name anymore but certainly looks the same). It is a lovely plant and your pictures show it to advantage.
That is such a neat way to display photos of a plant! Could you tell us more about how you did it? What program did you use and what font? I'd love to be able to compose some displays like this. Most intriguing! Thanks.
Hi, Roshana - thanks for the compliment. My "other" hobby is digital photography and I do all my editing and things like this poster using Photoshop 7.0 software and the photos are taken with my Minolta digital camera. The photos are put in as layers in photoshop and I add touches like drop shadows to make them look "pretty". Then text is added, all the layers flattened and the document saved as an image file like you see here. I use this program to make all my scrapbook pages with my photos as well as to make pages for my "Garden Journal" where I document photos and info like this on flowers I grow.
I had a feeling you used photoshop! Those pictures are wonderful. But, alas, I don't have photoshop. Thanks for the information about the photos. I will try doing something similiar with other photo programs I have and see what happens.
By the way...one more question...Santa is wondering what model of Minolta digital you have? Sure takes great photos! Thanks again.
I have a Minolta Dimage 7 (5.2 megapixel). I LOVE digital photography and the cost has come way down in the last year or two. You can get a great digital camera now for around $300.
I think digital photography is great too. So many options and so little work! I have a Sony Mavica FD100 that I really like. I wish that it was just a little smaller, slimmer, though. But I sure love the zoom! You can get pictures that you would never be able to get without the zoom. I'm going to look for one for my daughter and husband for Christmas so I'll keep yours in mind. Thanks.
