Hope someone can help me with my gooseberry. I've had it for about 5 years and have yet to get one berry off of it. It's just huge, so I know I don't need to give it fertilizer. It blooms profusely in the spring, then phphttt--nothing!! Not even the start of a berry. In the later summer for the past two years the grasshoppers have gotten the leaves, but it didn't have berries when there were leaves anyway. What am I doing wrong?? Does it need another plant to pollinate?
Thanks
Ruth
