Some of you may know me from the Farm Life thread and since I am going to cutback and eliminate my farming and diverisfy into market gardening/farm market/home business within a 3 to 5 yr time span from now & I was wondering how many acres is needed or how much is too many?
We have 100 now but can get another 300, but with all that I have read and studyed it seems like just 100 would be plenty if we put in some greenhouses and such. Or could we do it with less than 100?
For what we want to do and say a rate of making .$80 a sg.ft. with 100 acres we would make $3,484,800.00 a yr.
and I know there is no way that could work out like that.
