Pretty picture. Sounds like they did well for you. I got some cuttings in a trade a year ago and they spread well for me too. I have them in a hardy cactus bed and they are still blooming when everything else has succumbed to the cold weather here! They make a nice ground cover around the cactus plants, which are mostly prickly pears. Quite a hardy plant!
