Unles my memory is cheating on me, we donīt have any plant of this family down here in Brazil, so this is entirely new for me - and a great picture, too
The flower is tiny - maybe an inch across is pushing it. I think they're interesting, kind of unique. California Meadowfoam is what I usually see them listed as - a native wildflower. I'm more fond of the Fried Egg Flower name myself, but ... then again I'm silly!
